Welcome to the Itchen Imperial Rowing Club website.

Hello, Itchen rowing club is in the centre of Southampton. We row on the challenging and unpredictable waters of the river itchen. The club is always florishing with new members and we cater for all.

Why not come down the club and give it a go sometime! There is almost always someone there every day of the week- week nights and over the weekend. We are now about a third of the way through our racing season where we travell the south coast batteling it out at different regattas or just having a laugh! So far It had been a very succesfull season with wins from almost every corner of the club and we are well on our way ro getting a few championships! This follows a dissapointing start to the season with ryde and shanklin called off but following our regatta the weather has picked up bringing us a great summer to acompany the racing season.

We also have a junior section who compete at the junior events accross the south as well as a few of the Hants and Dorset Regattas. This year we have had many wins and seconds places from our under 16's.

Last year the club won an amazing 6 prizes at the Hants and dorset dinner consisting of- novice mens and ladies sculls, junior mens and ladies sculls, Junior senior mens fours and Novice ladies fours. The club also won 'most succesfull club' with most hants and dorset points gained over the season which we are hoping to repeat at the end of this year!
